The goal of the Exhibit Floor is to to educate Industry professionals and increase their understanding of new technology and its contributions to the creative process. Open throughout the Symposium, the Exhibit Floor will showcase the latest technologies in cameras, NLE systems, lenses and adapters, HD equipment and more. The Writers Guild of America, West, represents writers in the motion picture, broadcast, cable, and new media industries in both entertainment and news. The union conducts numerous programs, seminars, and events throughout the world on issues of interest to, and on behalf of, writers. For nonfiction filmmakers, the WGA offers a specialized low budget agreement, allowing filmmakers to earn benefits and protections under Guild contract while meeting the demands of the documentary film business.
