For this category, we require documentation of how the media was used within the installation. This can include a video of the installation “in operation” and/or drawings and photographs that illustrate how the installation was presented. Media used within the installation and supporting documentation can be uploaded to Dropbox as a short video presentation no longer than 10 minutes.
Online & Interactive Media Submissions
Include as much information as possible on registration form. For length, put "00". Also, you will receive a shared Dropbox folder to upload a representative image (ideally 1920x1080) and other information/media (e.g. documentation in writing for the judges about why the media is Online & Interactive and how they should peruse your media is suggested). Media that is not free on the Internet must give complimentary access/downloads (number may vary depending on number of judges viewing).
Integrated/Cross-Platform Media Submissions
We strongly suggest providing a short video presentation about how your various media platforms are used. Include as much information as possible on registration form. For length, put "00". All Entries in 3-D, Fulldome and Large Format will be judged in their native format in Boston at various venues during the last week of July (venues TBD). Finalists and award winners will be selected entirely by peer judges.
ALL IMMERSIVE CATEGORY media submitted on a hard drive must be clearly labeled in English with:

All fulldome submissions are subject to the following technical requirements:
Submissions should include a preview in fisheye format, including sound and image, with a pixel resolution of 1024x1024 pixels, in Quicktime (.mov) or Windows Media (.wmv) format or a DVD with a fisheye format preview (with sound and picture)
Transfer Medium should be an external USB Hard-Drive, formatted: NTFS (NT File System), .TGA frames or .PNG frames
Deliver video as sequential, error-free, dome master, 24bit, .JPG frames
Use a five-digit image sequence numbering, for example: ShowName_xxxxx.jpg
Audio delivered as .WAV sound files MONO @ 48k, 16-bit or 24-bit (stereo (L&R) or 5.1 (L/C/R/SL/SR/LFE)
Submit all audio channels, even if work is in stereo, using the following nomenclature: ShowName_L.wav
For sound & Video synchronization please include a cue point at the front end of the submission, or the audio should be cut to match the start of the first frame of the picture (indicate the method submitted)
Dome master frames must be formatted as equidistant azimuthal (polar fisheye) images as shown
Image orientation: front of dome at bottom edge of image, right-hand side of dome at right of image
Frame rate: 30 or 24 FPS. Please indicate frame rate on submission materials
Program format; at least 3000 x 3000 to 4096 x 4096 pixel (4K) dome master format
The area outside of the polar image shall be black, with title, frame # and elapsed show-time displayed (preferred but not mandatory)
