The Jackson Hole Symposium is held at the Center for the Arts Facility, which is located at 265 South Cache Street in downtown Jackson Hole, two blocks south of the town square. Playing host to 17 local, state and regional arts and education non-profit organizations, the Center also offers a state-of-the-art 500 seat theater, ideal for Symposium lectures and panel discussions. The adjacent lobby and display area offers both an internet café and a lounge area for relaxed meetings and leads directly to the Symposium Exhibit/Demo Room.
Jackson Hole in September
At an elevation of 6,200 feet (1,890 meters), Jackson Hole is likely to be sunny and warm during the day, with temperatures in the low 70’s (20 degrees Celsius). But, the nights in September can dip below freezing. Jackets, sweaters, and similar warm clothing are recommended.
Local Activities
Autumn is resplendent in Jackson Hole. With Elk bugling at dusk and the aspens trees boasting leaves of red and gold, it’s an incredible time of year to enjoy the abundant public lands surrounding the town. With Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks shouldering Jackson to the north, the options for non-symposium activities are endless! Nature hikes, National Park tours, fishing trips, climbing, scenic raft trips and biking are only a few of the many possibilities.
