Internships are
a great way to be involved, while gaining valuable experience
to add to your resume! JHWFF is seeking interns for its headquarters
in Jackson, Wyoming. Interns will have the opportunity to
assist with preparations for
a variety of events, including the 2007 Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival.
Internships are available May through October. Applications are now being accepted through May.
The ideal candidate has an interest in non-fiction
filmmaking, environmental conservation,
non-profit organizations, public relations, and/or event planning; and is a motivated,
self-starting individual. Communications, Journalism, and
Film students are strongly encouraged to apply.
General Qualifications
An intern must be a currently enrolled or recently graduated college student able to commit at least 2 days a week for a minimum of six weeks. Students are strongly encouraged to intern as long as they are able, for a more complete experience.
Grow personally and professionally through project specific opportunities in one or more of the following areas:
- Advertising
- Event planning
- Public Relations
- Marketing
- Film Competition Coordination
Housing and living expenses are the responsibility of the intern. Internships are unpaid, but may apply toward academic credit. Interns may have a job during their internship, as long as it does not conflict with their commitment to JHWFF. All interns receive a stipend to offset living expenses.
