World-class experts share practical information and insights on a variety of hot topics during seminars, panels and roundtable discussions throughout the Festival. Every session is devoted to an important aspect of the business and art of creating natural history programming.
Film Competition Screenings
Don't miss out on seeing the best wildlife films of the year! Finalists in every competition category will be screened throughout the week in high definition.
The Exhibit Floor
During the first half of the Festival, stop by the Exhibit Floor for a look at the latest cutting edge equipment & technology. Here you will find specialists eager to answer your questions and discuss new alternatives for every aspect of filmmaking, from pre-production to post.
Anatomy of a Production
Watch an inspiring film, and then learn how it was actually done! The ever-popular Anatomy of a Production series allows filmmakers a chance to share some of the behind the scene elements of the yearÃs most intriguing programs.
Hands-on Workshops
Dig deeper into the technology you saw on the Exhibit Floor through an in-depth workshop or intimate roundtable session. The Festival is creating a series of roundtables and workshops designed to offer hands-on opportunities to both professionals and newcomers keen on expanding their knowledge or perfecting their crafts.
Special Screenings
Big landscapes and wild creatures look spectacular on a large screen! High Definition screenings of this year's most remarkable and challenging productions will be presented with state of the art digital projectors and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound.
Social Events
The social events and evening receptions at Jackson Hole are incomparable and should not be missed! Jackson Hole is renowned for its western flair and down-home atmosphere, so you'll feel right at home in casual, comfortable clothing -- including cowboy boots! The gala Awards Ceremony is a little more formal, but not much.
