Jackson Hole in Late Autumn

Autumn is resplendent in Jackson Hole. At an elevation of 6,200 feet (1,890 meters), Jackson Hole is likely to be sunny and warm during the day, with temperatures in the low 70’s (20º Celsius). But, the nights can dip below freezing. Jackets, sweaters and similar warm clothing are recommended.

With elk bugling at dusk and the aspen trees boasting leaves of red and gold, it’s an incredible time of year to enjoy the abundant public lands surrounding town. With Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks shouldering Jackson to the north, the options for activities are endless! Nature hikes, National Park tours, fishing trips, climbing, scenic raft trips and biking are only a few of the many possibilities.
