Where to Stay
The Festival is hosted at Jackson Lake Lodge, a beautiful 45 minute drive from the town of Jackson. In addition to the Lodge, there is a wide range of options within a five to forty-five minute drive. To ensure your preferred accommodation, make your reservations at least 45 days in advance. Lodging during the Festival is the responsibility of each attendee.
Jackson Lake Lodge is located 36 miles north of the town of Jackson in Grand Teton National Park. The Lodge is a resort complex with 385 guest rooms and is offering a special room discount to all Festival attendees.

Come Early, Stay Late!
We have programmed wonderful opportunities for the weekends flanking the Festival, including several excursions, to make extended and family travel enticing!
Teton Village is located 15 minutes south of Grand Teton National Park, via the meandering Moose-Wilson Road, with four and five-star dining available.
The town of Jackson is located at the southern end of the valley near the base of Snow King Mountain, 15 minutes south of the Park via Hwy 89.

This year's National Geographic BBQ will be held at the Mangy Moose Restaurant & Saloon set at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, in Teton Village on Wednesday, October 5th. As usual, JHWFF will provide transportation to and from the festivities. If you opt to drive yourself, consider staying overnight--Teton Mountain Lodge and Hotel Terra have offered discounted rooms for those who wish to drive themselves, stay the night and wake up with a gorgeous view of the mountain.

Grand Teton National Park Location Release
The JHWFF will pull a location release form for the week of the Festival on your behalf for your use in Grand Teton National Park. You are responsible for following Park rules where they apply and for taking care of any and all insurance needs you may have and/or are required.

The Jackson Hole Airport is serviced by the following airlines: American, Delta, Frontier, Skywest, United and United Express. Direct flights are available from Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Denver and Salt Lake City.
Most hotels in the Jackson area provide free airport shuttle services. Otherwise, there are taxis available at the airport.
