"Christmas in Yellowstone" Premieres in Jackson Hole November 16
The Wildlife Film Festival and Thirteen/WNET's NATURE series recently presented the high definition world premiere of Christmas in Yellowstone. Producers Janet Hess and Shane Moore, and wildlife photographer Tom Murphy were in attendance for this special occasion! In addition to the standing room only community premiere, over 1,500 local students attended special HD screenings followed by filmmaker Q&A. Deep thanks to Panasonic, Wink, Inc., and Hughes Production for providing equipment and technical expertise.

From a delicate snowflake to geysers erupting into the crystal cold, to frost-covered Bison huddled by geothermal springs, Christmas in Yellowstone offers a spellbinding view of the pristine winter life deep within America's first national park. Click here to view a preview of Christmas in Yellowstone.

Christmas in Yellowstone is available in High Definition. The program will rebroadcast on Sunday, December 24, at 8pm (check your local listings).

2006-7 IN-SCHOOL EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Middle School Filmmakers
Professional documentary filmmakers will join the Middle School's Video Drama course. Seventh grade students will collaborate with filmmaker mentors to create their own documentary projects. Films will be shown publicly at a special year-end event presented to the entire Middle School, parents and the community.

Nature of Learning
In association with the National Elk Refuge, pARTners, the National Museum of Wildlife Art and the Geologists of Jackson Hole, we present a pilot program taking elementary students to the Elk Refuge for a variety of art and science projects--a series of excursions in our own "living field lab." Over the course of the school year, students will develop an enduring kinship and awareness for this unique environment through art, literature, film and science.

All Roads Festival
National Geographic's All Roads Festival will bring several indigenous filmmakers to screen and discuss their films, creating a unique experience culturally enriching and deeply personal. In addition to screenings open to the general public, special daytime screenings and discussions will be presented to area schoolchildren.
