
2006 FESTIVAL TOUR The best wildlife films of the year, from the 2005 Festival, are traveling around the country and overseas as part of the Jackson Hole Best of Festival Tour. Email tour@jhfestival.org. 2006 Tour Schedule January 28, Calcutta, India The American Center in Calcutta presents a featured screening of Earthling (Best Achievement in Sound and Best Children's) in association with the third Aranyak Wildlife Film Festival. March 11, Keystone, Colorado Featured screening of Strange Days on Planet Earth: Troubled Waters (finalist, Best Environmental program) at the American Bar Association's 35th Annual Conference on Environmental Law. March 25-26, Washington, D.C. 7 Festival films selected to screen at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History during the 14th Environmental Film Festival (March 16-26) in Washington, D.C. Screenings are free and open to the public. April 8 - May 24, Evanston, Illinois The Louis Family Nature Series at the Mary & Leigh Block Museum of Art offers a series of free screenings of the Best of JHWFF through May. April 20, Washington, D.C. The U.S. State Department hosts a special screening of Earthling as part of a special Earth Day celebration. May 4-7, Homer, Alaska The Best of JHWFF is showcased at the Inaugural Kachemak Nature Film Festival--a community event and local fundraiser for the Kachemak Heritage Land Trust. November 3-4, Gunnison, Colorado The Gunnison Arts Center and Western State College Department of Natural & Environmental Sciences are pleased to present the Best of JHWFF, next month!
