Shane Moore, Producer and Cinematographer
Moore and Moore Films
Born and raised in Yellowstone
country, Shane Moore has been making wildlife films since he was a teenager,
starting as an assistant to the legendary cinematographer Wolfgang Bayer. Moore’s film Yellowstone:
America’s Sacred Wilderness, which aired on PBS in the Living Edens series, won the Best of Festival award at the
Banff Film Festival and earned Best Cinematography honors at the Jackson Hole
Wildlife Film Festival. He has made several films for PBS’s NATURE
series, including A Mystery in Alaska (winner, Best Scientific Program,
International Wildlife Film Festival, 2004) Echoes from the Ice, Springs
Eternal: Florida’s Fountain of Youth and The Good, the Bad, and the
Grizzly (winner of the CINE International Film Festival Golden Eagle Award,
the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival Special Jury Prize, and an
International Wildlife Film Festival Finalist Award). His recent project, Christmas in Yellowstone
was nominated for an Emmy.
