The Wild Classroom

Rob Nelson is the co-founder and principal producer of content for the educational website www.TheWildClassroom.com. Rob's interest in education came primarily from his own use of videos in the science classroom while he was earning a masters degree in marine science in Hawaii. He's since begun several educational websites to help teachers use video in the classroom. Currently he is working on a second masters thesis at Montana State University's Filmmaking program entitled the Power and Potential of Nature filmmaking in the Science Classroom. His main concerns are creating content that help educators teach students about science. Rob directs his entertainment at kids in school because he understands that science education needs to be exciting for kids to want to pursue it later in academia.
