Melissa Salpietra

Melissa has a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Cincinnati. She has spent the past 5 years working with top scientists in the field of animal communication and sexual selection. In addition to biology, Melissa has spent prior years building experience in film production, completing course work at Austin Film Works and Austin Community College. She has an interest in science and nature filmmaking, particularly in research, writing and directing. Currently, she is working at NOVA Online in Boston and independently pursuing film ideas.
