Mary Jo Kinser is an eight time Emmy Award winning production
executive with over twenty five years of experience in film and television. Her
productions range from the heights of Mt. Everest
to the depths of the ocean floor, to the fields of play in sports. They include
the first kayak ascent of the Niagara River, the Newport
to Bermuda sail boat race, as well as the
documentation of the behavior of killer whales, grey sharks, and Peruvian
condors. She has worked in all mediums from film to two inch video to high
definition. In 1983 she became the first producer to use an onboard
camera/recorder when her production team utilized a Panasonic Re-cam camera on
a Mt. Everest summit attempt, before beta-cam
had been invented. Most recently she oversaw production of the SportsCentury
series in high definition. Mary Jo has overseen productions on all seven
continents and been involved in five Olympics.
