Greg Henderson has been involved in
online storytelling since 1995, when he helped to launch Discovery.com, where
he produced multimedia Web documentary expeditions from around the world.
He directed real-time online events around climbs of Everest and
Denali, excursions down the Colorado and
up the Yangtze, and bicycle trips across Russia,
Patagonia, Australia
and the Middle East. He worked with the American Museum
of Natural History to create month-long multimedia Web stories that
unfolded as scientists tracked whales off of Madagascar, hunted rare spiders across Australia, and searched for traces of
prehistoric sharks in the Falklands. He
currently runs multimedia news for the Washington
bureau of the Associated Press.
