Born as a filmmaker and storyteller in Jackson
Hole in 1993 with He Dances for his Cormorants
(which subsequently won over 100 awards) he has been making films both for television
and theatre. For television: Lords of the Animals, The Monkey Prince, Yeti, The Fabulous Adventure
of Man and Animals, Species Odyssey, Homo Sapiens, The Rise of Man… and for
the big screen: Hanuman (98), Man to Man (2003). Fred is currently in production on Evolution
Man (2009), a 3D animation feature, and two nature features.
