Andrew Buchanan,Executive Producer

After an early career in theatre, feature films, and TV drama Andrew moved into wildlife production. He worked for the BBC, Partridge Films and Granada Wild,and is now Executive Producer with Parthenon Entertainment. His main focus is on popular wildlife and conservation programmes for international broadcasters such as Animal Planet, Discovery and National Geographic. He specialises in series such as 'Built For The Kill', ‘ Wild Sex’ and 'Planet Action' but has also worked on single hours like 'American Shark', 'Killer Squid' and Earth Report. Andrew mentors young filmmakers in the UK and works with Discovery Campus to train emerging European documentary directors. His other interests include research into managing digital media and community access to video and new media.
